We’re hoarders at heart, with a mission of recycling at our core. Our LABEL leverages the world’s collective closet to deliver directional full-circle fashion.

We hoard quality. Our raw material reserve is a thing of beauty and a real beast to maintain; sorters file through 93 million pounds of clothes per year. That’s like 60 olympic size swimming pools filled with silk, suede, leather and more: a good way to save 600,000 garments from landfill.

With the raw material sorted, we move forward with designs that tell individual stories. From London to Sweden, we consult our collective vintage wish-list and compare it with our vision for tomorrow to craft fashion with a foot in both worlds. Style that goes above and beyond, forecast a year in advance - yet made with the fabric of years past.

Beyond Retro LABEL is made entirely from secondhand fabrics, and trims and hardware are re-used when possible. Pocket change becomes branding bling: we stamp spare pennies with our Anchor logo.

We work closely with our artisans to transform found fabrics into fresh new fashion for you to wear. It always comes back to raw material and you can’t always get what you want. But with 20-30 styles in development at any given time, we usually get what we need.

We fully operate our factory, in India. A large volume of the world’s used clothing is sorted there. Working at the source of the raw material, our full-time team can trial new prototypes and turnaround designs in record time.

From northwest India to northeast London, 100,000 Beyond Retro LABEL items arrive at our Shoreditch HQ for final approval each year, across a myriad of styles. Our range of reworked and reconstructed fashion is triple-checked for fit and quality.
